Day 14

went to PP3 lab in the morning
learned about Dental and Nurse prescriptions
going on quite well now.. more familiar with the rules and regulations..
hope that I will pass the exemption exam ^^

met miss Carol to get her signature on some JPA's documents
found the cheapest photocopy shop in Glasgow so far with Siew Ling..
it's at the forth floor of Colville Building =)
it only costs 4pence per piece =)
but we can't photocopy passport/visa over there, need to get it done outside of UoS

daniel came to our unit and cook for Mamak Mee gang.. =)
he cooked mushroom chicken.. wantan soup.. and vege..
had a warm dinner with the gang..

feel like life is getting harder now
everyone is studying and preparing
it's just the second week of Semester 6..
aaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
really need to start preparing, studying and revising..
consistent study is a must here.. not to forget extra reading
lecturer are expecting us to know all here..
life is getting hard here.. but I will survive =)

Day 13

went for PP3 lab today..
herm.. learned quite a few things today..
had an "discussion" with the coordinator regarding the administration of hydrocortisone ointment..

did second patient counselling today..

formed a Summer Trip gang today..
refused by the other two gangs.. =(
but anyway.. got a golden chance to plan a short trip around europe ^^

went to buy some groceries with Daniel, seng yang and kang wee at Chung Ying Hang
it was a sunny day.. which is hardly seen here

cooked fried rice for dinner

Day 12

herm.. went to Edinburgh with kangwee, sengyang, ye wei and wilferd..
we departed around 8:30am
and reached there around 9:30am
it was quite hard for us to look for a suitable parking..
and we manage to reach the Edinburgh castle around 10:45am

Day 11

went to Morrison this morning
with seng yang, kang wee, shi yu, chee hui, pei ling and jia jia..
bought a few vege over there..

 went for shopping at Livingston
bought a sweater from Petroleum after hours of shopping
it costs 15 pounds
in fact, i decided to buy this sweat in less than 5 minutes time..
hope that it worth it =)

Day 10

went to PP3 lab this morning
and tutorial in the afternoon
learned controlled drugs part 2

went to get the bank account number
and bank in all the cash..
our debit and saving card will be post to us soon

met my senior Daniel to learn cake baking..

Day 8

another day has gone..
PP3 lab class in the morning
we learned about private prescription today
suddenly flooded with lots of assignment during tutorial this afternoon.. lolzzzzzzz

prepared for tomorrow PP3 lab in the afternoon
had a walk with senior Daniel to TESCO Metro in the evening..
made some entries to my Personal Development Plan in myPlace

was fb-ing and realise that it's already 9:55pm..

the night is still very young..
and i'm too old for the night..

Day 7

attended Second PP3 lab today..
it's about NHS PoM prescription
=)

i think i will love this subject by the end of the day..
i enjoy counsel the patient ^^
though i am yet to master the technique to use  BNF and Stockley's Drug Interaction
by the way, we got BNF for free

the lab manual and free BNF62

collected my bank letter
but the RBS is closed on 12:30pm for Tuesday and Wednesday..
so i can only open an account this Thursday

fried two eggs for the first time using non-stick pan
it was quite different from using the normal "kuali"
though it "won't stick" on the pan, but i still prefer the normal "kuali"..

i like the texture of the porridge but not really like the rib itself..
it's kind of smelly..

Day 6

First day of class
had introduction for PP3
it's fun and very stress
we will be experiencing how pharmacists deal with prescription throughout the module
and this is one of the things that i am interested in being a pharmacist..
we screen prescription, stop fatal error, etc.  ^^

collected my status letter and requested for my bank letter too
will go open bank account tomorrow
