i built some protein models yesterday.. ^^

Protein Models

beta-turn of four consequtive glycine amino acids

with the hydrogen bond bound at the first and forth glycine

the four consecutive glycine amino acid peptide chain
will be in a straight line if there is no hydrogen bond

glycine-proline-glycine peptide chain

there is a turn between gly-pro-gly peptide chain
even though without hydrogen bond

due to the nature of the proline
