Don't give up, just stand up!

When we fail, what can we do? and what should we do?

From my point of view, we need to keep on reminding ourselves about the following...
How hurt is it when we fail? How those around us treat us when we fail? How our beloved family members feel when we fail? We have to always keep all these feeling in our mind until we died so that we are always be aware of the feeling of disappointment, hurt, and perhaps guilty and looked down by others. When we are aware of all of these, we can always do our best in everything we do to avoid failure.

After all, we need to stand up and go on. Never let failure to slow us down. We know how hurt is it when we meet with failure. We know how our beloved feel when we fail. and... we know how our friends look at us when we fail.

When I was alone in a park few days ago, there was a scene about a child fell down accidentally while running, he quickly stood up and acted as nothing had took place and keep on running. Why a small kid like him was able to stand up immediately after he fell down but a strong and hard adult unable to stand up once he or she fall down in his or her life?! Some might say that it is just an easy job for the kid to stand up again after the fall, if they were that kid they are able to do so too. However, when comes to their failure in exam or business or in their lives respectively, why can't they just stand up after all? As we grow up, our strength and abilities to achieve higher goal and complete tougher task also increase, thus, we should be able to face all the tasks or failure in our lives without any excuse. If we are able to get 100% when we were in kindergarten, so we should be able to obtain 100% when we are in university. We cannot deny that tests might go harder but we do have more time to prepare and do gain more knowledge, experience more things as we grow older. In short, we are able to achieve what we had achieved in the past (in the sense of exam mark). It is all just depend on our will.

'Find Your Position'...

This is mainly about informing us how to succeed in life by knowing our positions. A person without aim is just like a boat floating on middle of the sea without destination or harbour to stop by. He or she will give up easily in everything he or she does.

Life is just like a stage and everybody have their own role. To succeed in life, one has to play it role well and to achieve this one has to find out what is his or her role. A person without knowing what is his or her role will not play his or her part well as one cannot concentrate on it. Thus, after knowing the roles that ones have to play, ones have to pay full attention on it in order to perform well. A person with aims is less likely to give up and is enthusiastic in his or her life. Apart from that, targets have to be set according to one abilities. In addition, all the aims or target have to be reviewed or reconsider after a period of time. This does not mean to put that particular target aside but to reconsider its probability to be achieved after a period of time. Knowing our roles in lives, we can play our part well in this huge stage and be a successful person in life.

After setting targets or aims, we need to act confidently. We need to be able to face all the challenges and overcome all the problems that rose on our path to achieve our target. We have to start it by the day we set the target so that we will not lose interest on it. Besides, we have to dare to take the first step if not, we will never obtain what we dream of. We have to be confident and careful in every single step we take so that we can always be on the right path. In addition, the most dangerous thing on our path to success is fear to take risks.

We need to look up on ourselves in or the to grab all the opportunities. If we are shy or fear to take risks, then we are unlikely to win. We have to set our mind and aim straight on our goal so that we will move forward to our target. If we look down on ourselves, we will miss opportunities to success. Furthermore, we must not be the 'pray' of others opinions. We have to trust on ourselves that we are right and never give up just due to just what others think or their negative comments. Do not let others 'impossible' stop us from moving forward.

Apart from that, we have to give ourselves correct positive psychological signal in order to make our dreams come true. Over impersonating others will make us lost. We have to think positively and believe that we are able to hit the target. We have to forget the past as it is not equal to future, yet, we still need to learn from the past and always remind ourselves not to repeat the same mistakes again.

Last but not least, we have to keep on achieve our goals and set a new one so that our lives can always be wonderful. We have to be able to control our emotion so that we can think logically and correctly always and able to decide precisely the time to stop and to move on. When we are in the down, we need to think positively and work harder than usual. At this point, we need to hold tightly on our believe and aims.

buLLy...

“Hey, pass me that book! PLEASE….”

“I… only...”

“You what?! Faster! Come on, I need to read it now!”

“but.. I have yet to..."

"TO WHAT?!"

"K... then...”

“THANKS...”

This is one of the most recent and common ways borrow things amongst young student in school. Indirectly, this show that the sign of bullying is at an alarming rate and it is the high time for all of us to curb with it. However, most of the victim does not realize that they are being bullied. According to the Cambridge Dictionary Online, the term ‘bully’ stands for someone who hurts or frightens someone who is smaller or less powerful than them, often forcing them to do what they do not want to do. In this case the student in italic had been force to “lend” his ‘friend’ the book he has. But, don’t you think that another student is bullying the student in italic? Though there is stressed ‘thanks’ there, but do you think that it can be consider as a proper or sincere way to express to someone that you are pleased about or appreciate something that they have done?? I, personally, vote for the opposite.

In my opinion that is a bullying case happening. Although it might seem minor to some of you, yet I believe that this is the hint or sign for severe case to take place in future. Of course most importantly is how we are going to cease this phenomenon. In my opinion, I would like to state that the most basic step is to expose students about what can be consider as bully no matter minor one or the major.

Sign of bully includes students give unreliable excuses for not going to school such as stomachache. Parent, counselor and teacher play a major role here. They should inform student about types of the bully and also how to handle them. We cannot deny that most of the parents and teacher nowadays are also lack of idea and experience in doing so. So, I would like to suggest that they attend specific seminars that launch by the professional. Apart from that, both parents and teachers should put their hand together in order to solve this problem. Parents should pay more attention to their children on their current progression. To do this, there must be a positive communication among parents and children so that children are willing to share their stories with parents. Parents must show sympathy towards their children who are being bullied instead of scolding them for being weak or bullied. If the student are being scolded or punished due to this, it is certain that they will not inform their parents when they are being bullied again. Once parents found out that their lovely children being bullied, teachers should be informed immediately so that they can pay more attention on those being bullied.

So, for those who were keep on bullying others, stop bullying now! For those who are being bullied, voice it out, tell your parents or teachers. Bear in mind that everyone in this wonderful Earth has an equal chance and right to live. No one should be bullied nor bully others. Proper channels should be introduced by government such as counseling activities and seminar for both parents and teachers on which are the sensible ways to stop bully. Now is the prime time to stop this phenomenon as preventing is better that curing.

workplace stress...

Yesterday, when i was shopping at a supermarket near my house, there was a promoter who got 'mad'. She threw all the clothes that do not belong to her section on the floor angrily. What make thing worse is that she did not feel shame despite lots of customers staring at her ridiculous behaviour. She was just keep smiling while mumbling to her co-workers nearby.

According to her (what i overheard), there was no customer visited her section which situated at the corner.. and she is going to get '0' for her 8-hours standing for the whole day... but what ran in my mind is that it is not her fault because the clothes in her section is much more expensive relative to others...

In my opinion, this is a situation which shows workplace stress. Not only long working hours but also unreasonably high expectation will bring to health problems, stress and sleepiness in workplace. In this case, the promoter has to stand at her section for 8 hours for six day per week. In addition, she is expected to sell some clothes per day ( i am not sure with the target). Indirectly, this will raise stress level of the promoter and bring to severe health problems in near future. Workplace stress might bring to insomnia consequently will bring to low productivity. So, boss or employer should take care of the employees welfare in order to create a positive working environment for not only for the benefits of the workers but also for the sake of company's productivity.
