iv. exercise twice weekly
v. drink at least 2.0L water daily
vi. be vegetarian during every first and 15th day of the Chinese lunar month
vii. keep fit target weight 58 kg

as i wished

in view of the benefit of the team
based on my experience
i think i can contribute better as a secretary
compared to the rest of the positions nominated

will work hard to make things move
give the best that i can
hope that it will be a wonderful term (2016-2018)

便渴望有个 形影不离的知己
在a-level/大学时 我曾经拥有
但 我 不懂珍惜

my first ever 10km run

ran for the first 14 minutes
and was walking for the rest of the journey
with only two-three 40 seconds run in between

anyway, i have made it within the qualifying time
with only a few seconds ahead
haha

Antibiotic Awareness Week 2015

this is the ever formal event that led by me in my working life
it's has been a long time since my last time organising a formal activity

lots of incidents happened here and there
but we made it

throughout the week
quiz for public
quiz for staff (competition)
booth
on last thursday
prize giving
speeches from pengarah, doctors, lab and infection control nurse, pharmacists
THANK YOU

i did felt a bit lost when unexpected problems happened
i used to handle them calmly those days
this make me feel that the ability to organise an event is like a muscle
if you don't use it, you will lose it

anyway, trillions thanks to those who helped me all the way
i really appreciate each and everyone of them
for their support and assistance throughout the event
THANK YOU

speakers and helpers who helped me to
get fund
get prizes
get participants for the event and also answering the quizzes
prepare prizes
prepare food
prepare booth
prepare venue
prepare gimmick for opening ceremony
in charge of registration
giving me ideas on how to improve the event
THANK YOU

i forgot to get mic and speakers for the event
but then halfway through the event, the PT from administration brought it here
someone must have informed him, but it wasn't me
millions thanks to the someone
THANK YOU

anyway i did get to polish up my skills
and i enjoyed giving speech during that event
(though I still feel a bit nervous but it is the least i ever experienced)

i love my AMS and pharmacy team
working as a team make things easier

我忘了我写什么
但应该是关于
不为发生做反应

因为这句 真的对我非常贴切

我很久很久没领奖了
上一次 或许是2010年IMU Cup中国象棋队亚军了

我认为 上台分享
不好也不坏
其好坏在于上台的出发点

之前 
很羡慕 那些 能够在台上问答如流的人
认为 善于在大众面前表达的人 
是不须付出很多 便能得到很多 名与利
事半功倍
上台 是为了 名与利
所以 就算很怕上台 也会硬着头皮 上台去

第一次 有分享机会时
我没上台 
心里在彩排 该说些什么
在犹豫 我还要继续争名与利吗? 这可是佛学营哩
想着想着 时间到了 机会没了

过后 
在小组与助教讨论上台分享的意义时
突然明白了 上台分享
是 与别人分享我们所学的 
让大家有机会共同学习
让大家更了解及体会师父所学的


我要为我的家 加分
我要有所不同
以此心态 我上台了

在台上 我感觉到了我的心跳
极为紧张
做了简短的分享 便下台了

下台后 我的家人 为我鼓掌
为我竖起了两个大大的拇指头
对我说 我做到了 有所不同了
我心中 有种感动的感觉

这 与之前在台上的分享不一样
格外紧张 
虽然还是有很大的进步空间 但 我 做到了
我 已 踏出第一步了

因为我不想被洗脑 而且我对洗脑这游戏 非常反感

但 在催眠别人时 我反而觉得我可以成为那个他/她想成为的人

过后 谈了为什么来这儿
谈了自己的日常生活
便被带到讲堂去了

行者培训营 - Part 4 第一天的早课

到了鹤鸣寺
还来得及 上早课
感恩


早课
南无本师釋迦牟尼佛 x 3
般若波罗蜜多心经
静坐
普贤菩萨十愿
三皈依
回向


在静坐时 很多杂念
心 始终无法 平静下来
满脑子 有的 没的 不曾间断

我知道 静坐时不该胡思乱想
但我真的控制不了
我真的想那凌乱的思绪理清

只好捉住一个问题 烦恼
慢慢仔细的思考 解决方法
不停的问自己
如果这样 那我愿意吗?
若真的发生 我放得下吗?
这样 我 有错吗?

想着 想着
铃声响起
我只好把它搁置一旁

心想 时间过得真快
通常静坐都会让我觉得非常漫长 忍受不了
但这次 不同 我反而想坐久一点
因为我还没想完嘛 问题还没解决

无论如何 我不断的提醒自己
要活在当下 好好用心的上早课

礼佛时 我发现
我还真的肥了不少

上完早课
吃了早餐
便与同事聊了一句钟工作上的烦恼
宣泄完 还真的舒服了不少

收拾心情
准备投入培训营

到了Chow Kit Station
之前看过了Google Map
单凭着记忆 走

走着 走着
15分钟过去了
怎么还没到?
难道走错方向了吗?
明明该在这儿

路人以异样的眼光望着我
这小伙子怎么一大清早 拖着行李到处走

鹤鸣寺 你在哪?
不想问 也得问
问了一个马来同胞Hotel Brisdale的位置
原来它在我的后方
那么一大栋 我也没发现


一路上盲目的走
不肯 不耻下问
是 到达不了的


Brisdale Hotel 是找到了
哈哈 希望来了


鹤鸣寺 在哪?
快下雨了
得快点找到

时间慢慢的过
我越来越紧张了
我是不是不该来?
缘分还没到?
我 又犹豫了

走着 走着

突然 一阵阵的素食香 扑鼻而来
哈哈 应该就是这儿了

但 它怎么没门?
门在哪?
沿着它走 准没错

我 终于找到了
隐藏在闹市中的 鹤鸣寺

如果当初我早点念佛号
或许我能够早点到

这 一路走来 虽短
但 确实让我体会了不少

行者培训营 - Part 2 回头?不回头?

昏昏沉沉的 忐忐忑忑的
好不容易在巴士上熬过了一夜
没睡好 没睡够
清晨五点多 终于到达吉隆坡

意外的 巴士停在 KL Sentral
心想 赚到了
哈哈 可以省下从TBS 到 KL Sentral 的钱
于是在公厕简单的梳洗后
便信心满满的 在 LRT 前 等它开门

6点正 那门缓缓的升上
许多人 一窝蜂的冲上
我 慢慢的走去 售票机前
买了张去ChowKit Station 的票

该左转? 还是右转?
还是问问服务员好

啊啊啊 原来我不该从LRT上
应该直接到Monorail那儿
zzz
结果我得到Majid Jamek 及 Hang Tuah 转两趟火车

到了Hang Tuah,当火车门要关上时
一对欧洲夫妇 突然问我 那火车是否会到Sri Petaling
我 一时紧张 反应不过来
便给了错的答案

火车走了
我 又 犹豫了

该不该 回头 带跟他们道歉
并带他们到达目的地呢?
回头?不回头?

不用吧
反正 那边还有那么多人
其他人一定会带他们去的
回头?不回头?

不行
做错了 必须认错
万一他们在那儿 痴痴的等
那该如何是好?
回头?不回头?


还是回头了

但他们已不在了
心想 他们应该是上了刚走的那一辆去Sri Petaling 的火车

心 安了

之前烦躁的心
似乎因这 变得有些平静了

虽然 钱 早就付了
但是 到了入营的前几天
我 还是 在犹豫不决
去? 还是不去?

不想在很多人面前 发表意见
不想被逼上台
不想被逼表演
不想被逼领导
不像被人说 去了佛学营还是没变
去? 还是不去?

当时心里 还有很多 很多的杂念
无法平静下来
我是谁? 想要什么?
我准备放下了吗? 会继续执著吗?
我准备好了吗? 去了会有收获吗?
现在是时候去吗?
去? 还是不去?

很多 很多事情等着我去处理
主要的是
第二项研究的医院伙伴 还没着落
19号 将会有场很重要的活动 需要我去协调
虽然开了会 分配了工作 但 我还是不放心
去? 还是不去?

当时 真的很累
心很烦 很乱

钱 付了
临时申请的两天假期(11,12号)也批了
巴士票也买了
或许回来 会获益非凡
心不再乱 不再累

还是去吧。。。

can learn quite a lot

moral of the story

  1. when you love  like someone, just go for him/her before it's too late
  2. time, waits for nobody
  3. don't spend your time/effort on someone/something not appreciating you in return
  4. everyone is the main character of their own movie
  5. if you love someone, you will give unconditionally and not expecting anything in return
  6. love, doesn't mean that you need to own him/her; as long as he/she is happy, you will be happy

someone bang into my car from behind
luckily no big damage done

it was an emergency stop
luckily i manage to stop and not banging the one in front of me

i didn't ask him to pay me
coz i don't think i want to repair my car

but i did take his phone number
hopefully he is alright

independent is not easily earned
after decades of hard work
after uncountable lives sacrificed
we came together as one

we might be brought up in different cultures and believes
we might look different in colour
but we are all Malaysian

unity in diversity
is what we all proud of

thankful for what i have

while i was thinking what should i ask for my birthday present

smartphone?
laptop?
tablet?
watch?

hmm...

there are people who just want to stay healthy. stay alive.

some just want to be able to
walk again
see again
hear again
smell again
and to feel again

some just want to be able to
breath as normal
eat as normal
and even just drink PLAIN water as much as they want

people are fighting every seconds to stay alive

lots of people are starving
lots of people lost their home

when you are complaining that you don't have shoes to wear
he/she doesn't have leg

hmmm

and now, what should i ask for?

medical camps by Persatuan Medikal Kebajikan - attended once in March
medical camps by Tzu Chi

Health - similar to those in 2011
i. sleep before 11pm everyday.
ii. study at least 3 hours per day.
iii. workout 2 days per week (Sunday and Thursday - Badminton at Sik and Friday with parents) - in process
iv. have 8 hours of sleep per day
v. exercise twice weekly - in process
vi. be 'loyal' - sort this out - hmmm falling into the side i want, not i need.. zzz  let it be, i am who i am
vii. on my laptop maximum 6 hours per day
viii. drink at least 1.5L water daily
ix. do not addict to any electronic game - deleted those computer games in my laptop around February
x. be vegetarian during every first and 15th day of the Chinese lunar month

it's gonna be a fruitful year if i am able to complete these by the end of the year
i am looking forward to it
